Some thoughts on the Election

While I may not choose to use this exact language to express myself, this video, this gentleman, is SPOT ON.  I think there is more to it, and have some ideas I will gel out as time goes by, but this is absolutely right.

The election was ours to win or lose, and we lost it.  I am astounded that enough people are still willing to vote for the Benghazi Butcher, the Keynesian socialist bigot spendthrift.  But perhaps I shouldn't be, since some of my friends who only watch the mainstream lapdog media don't have a clue about what is really going on.  The media's stated purpose of getting Obama elected/reelected would pretty much guarantee that the bad stuff wouldn't get out there.  What I don't understand is why there are not more conservative media.... what is preventing them from being available?  Well, of course, I know they are out there, especially in writing, but you have to actually look for them. I have talked with people who have flat out told me they don't want to spend much time reading news, looking at primary sources, and want to just see it on tv or get sound bites.  I read both liberal and conservative sources, I make a real effort to be informed and look beyond the headlines and first paragraph.  What I see isn't pleasant, but it is important to know  It seems to be a soundbite nation, if it takes longer than 8 seconds, it is too much work.  Well, to them I say, if you want to be ignorant because it is too much work to educate yourself, you deserve what you get.
